BIO | JAVIN WILLIAMS | A native to Birmingham, Alabama, Javin was raised in the kitchen cooking with his mother, the chef that taught him all the fundamentals of southern cuisine and building flavors. He started working in restaurants in his early teens, received his high school diploma at the age of 16, and a year later he was enrolled at Keiser University where he received his Associates of Science in Culinary Arts. After finishing culinary school he started his career in Tallahassee at the University Center Club where he was the Chef that catered to boosters of the Florida State football team. After ten years of working the culinary landscape in Tallahassee, Javin moved to Denver, Colorado to continue his culinary career. In the mile high city Javin worked his way up to Sous Chef at the eccentric restaurant Linger, assisting in the grand opening of El Five & Vital Root, and spent time at Root Down and Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. While working in Denver Javin became extremely knowledgeable about allergies, dietary restrictions, and global cuisine catering to all the international travelers in the front range. Javin began snowboarding and knew he had to make the mountains his home, so he moved to Summit County in 2018. Since moving to Summit County he has been a Banquet Captain at Keystone Lodge and Chef de Partie at Whole Foods Market. Javin is excited to welcome you to Summit County and appreciates the opportunity to create a unique and memorable dining experience.
